ANKYRAS® is a product for the personalized predictive simulation of braided stents in the treatment of Intracranial aneurysms for precise and safe implantation, which assesses the fitting of a particular device on the patient.
A product intended for the selection of a braided stent based on patient's vascular and aneurysm detailed morphology quantification extracted from 3D angiographic data. Different devices are simulated and presented once proximal and distal landing points are chosen by the physician.
Is a software designed to characterize the local porosity of the braided device after implantation for its assessment by the physician. It is intended to help understanding differences in local porosity between different devices after their implantation in a predictive manner.
Ankyras is an advanced software solution that provides an integral solution to the operating physician. It can be accessed on 3 different platforms, namely desktop, web and mobile. Each solution adapts to different user profiles, depending on their role, level of expertise and requirements.
Benefits
Galgo develops 3D medical image post-processing software solutions to add predictive value to personalized treatment strategies. Each patient is different and requires tailored treatment: personalized medication, surgical implants and interventional strategies. The increasing availability of high-quality patient images enables Galgo's algorithms and software to extract key clinical information to support clinical decision-making and planning and guidance of interventional procedures.
Galgo has focused on four medical disciplines:
• Intra-cranial aneurysms, to plan, for each patient, the endovascular treatment with braided devices.
• Epilepsy, to tailor the implantation of deep electrodes using complex 3D multimodal data.
• Arrhythmias, to identify the arrhythmic substrate and to plan catheter ablation procedures from cardiac MRI.
• Osteoporosis, to improve disease management by turning DXA images into 3D patient-specific models.
Galgo Medical SL has been certified by BSI to ISO 13485:2016 under certificate number MD 656038.
